The biggest mistake I see with aisle pieces is scale. Often they are too small and hardly make an appearance. My rule of thumb is that they should be at least 30% the size of the chair they are sitting next too. Of course bigger would be even better. If you can’t do that then I would suggest putting all of your dollars into dressing the entry row only. That way you have a better chance of making an impact. I’m a fan of the pre wedding wedding. That’s the one that’s just between you and the love of your life where you promise to each other your undying love in a gorgeous dress and/or suit with stunning floral in a breathtaking location all captured by the very best photographer. Then you sit down at a decked out table for two to plot your world takeover as husband and wife or wife and wife or husband and husband... whatever your love may look like, with the first thing on the list being to celebrate a later big wedding with family and friends..
